Rye Girls Softball (RGS) 2025 Spring League Registration Now Open!

We are excited about the 2025 RGS season given the record number of players last spring, the high level of competition exhibited, our community collaboration with Port Chester, and our continued participation with Little League Softball (District 20)!  Looking forward to seeing your players on the field in the spring!

Eligibility:  Open to players born between 2010-2019 (6U-14U) who live in Rye or Port Chester and are attending a Rye or Port Chester school.  Note - players born in 2018 will have the option to either register for T-ball (with 6U) or if they are a little more advanced, for coach/player pitch (with 8U), depending on your preference.

Philosophy:  This is a RECREATIONAL league.  That means our focus is on development and fun.  While we keep score and the girls will naturally want to win some games, it will not be the first priority.  As much as possible, we will try to keep groups of friends together on the same team - please indicate players your child would like to play with on the registration form.  For girls who want a more competitive experience, we will offer travel teams and all-star teams in addition to rec play.  Please reach out to us for more information on those opportunities.

Season:  All games played in Rye and neighboring towns (Little League District 20).  Parent-led coaching is enriched with guidance from professional coaches in clinic-style practices.  Practices will start in late March, and the season will kick off with our opening day parade in early April and run until early June.  Most teams will have 1-2 practices during the week, and 1-2 games on the weekends.  As always with a spring outdoor sport, this is subject to change based on weather!

Cost:  $300 until January 24th ($50 late fee thereafter).  An installment plan will be available at checkout.  Full and partial scholarships available based on need.  Please email ryegirlssoftball@gmail.com if you would like to be considered (requests remain confidential).
