Rye Girls Softball Adds Co-President & New Board Members

After a strong year of softball in 2021, Rye Girls Softball is pleased to announce updates to our board of directors with the focus on long-term continuity and growth for 2022 and beyond.

First, as our current President, Jared Golub, approaches his daughter’s final Spring season with Rye Girls Softball, he will begin a seamless transition of leadership on the board.  Effective immediately, current Board member (and mother of 3 players in the system), Genevieve Weber (Gilmore) will join Jared as Co-President.  At the conclusion of the Spring 2022 season, Genevieve will remain as the sole President of RGS.

Jared has made immeasurable contributions to the growth and strength of Rye Girls Softball and we thank him for all he has done.

In addition, the Board has expanded our leadership with three new board members to join our Co-Presidents and current board member Winston Paes.

Brett Ehrlich has twin daughters in 5th grade who play in both our recreational and travel programs.  Brett has been actively involved in youth sports personally and professionally and will focus on marketing, branding, sponsorships and our social medial presence.

Alex Lanuza has been actively involved with Rye Girls Softball for five years.  He has a 6th grade daughter who participates in our recreational and travel programs.  With a 4th grader and Kindergartner, we look forward to Alex’s involvement for many years!  Alex will focus on our player development and league competition.

Milan Yokuty has been involved with our program since 2017.  She has a 7th grade daughter who participates in our recreational and travel programs for 5 years and loves softball.  Milan also has a 2nd grade daughter who has recently joined RGS.  Milan will be taking over the role of Treasurer.
